Mr. Taylor is quite certain that his son was murdered. I totally agree! I wish other people would agree too. Jack and
Renee are going after Tony. They head after a guy (he sounds Scottish to me, very Scottish) but he's killed by a sniper on
the roof of a building across the street. Bad news, because they don't get Tony's location. No one is happy about Jack being
on the loose again but I sure am! I missed Jack. Anyway, Jack gets suspicious and says that there must be a leak in the
FBI. How else could they have known Jack and Renee were going to after that man? Someone must have tipped Tony off. Tony
then calls Jack and warns him to mind his own business. Ooooo. I miss the old Tony. I still can't believe he's evil. Jack
and Renee go after the sniper, but he slips away. There IS a leak, and so far it looks like some random guy. But I won't
rest easy yet. There could still be a leak. Jack discovers who the sniper is and the pair go after him. Moss is not too
happy that Renee is chasing around with Jack. But that's the way it goes. Eventually they get to a dock (somewhere), and
there is a big boat. On the boat is Tony, though they don't know it yet. They just suspect. Jack takes the sniper out and
uses him to get through security. The sniper is killed, and there's a gunfight. Most excitement we've had so far. Renee
and Jack sneak onto the boat. They want to get to Tony and find the CIP board before the terrorists actually kill people
this time. This is the first time the terrorists haven't been Middle Eastern or British/European. This time they are African
and American. New twist! Back on the boat Renee finds a computer with files that are already self-deleting. The bad guys
knew someone was going to come and they've taken care of it. Of course. Jack is slinking around when there's a noise! Suddenly
Tony comes sprinting out from behind a door and Jack tears off after him. They finally meet on the upper deck of the boat.
Jack tells him to stop. But Tony doesn't want to so he takes off running again. Jack wants this to end NOW so he flies (rather,
leaps very far) off the boat and lands on Tony. Seriously. He just soars through the air and lands on Tony. That was the
greatest Bauer stunt ever! Jack and Tony start the beat down on each other. Agent Walker can only watch. I wonder what
she's thinking. Moss shows up in a helicopter and he too can only stare. Probably because they found Tony, but also because
Walker and Jack went off on their own to find him and Renee lied to him about it. I can't believe this Tony thing though.
He was such a good man! Jack puts it perfectly when he looks at him and asks, 'What the hell happened to you?'. What the
hell indeed. Back at the White House, Mrs. Taylor is meeting with the man she wants to succeed Djuma. He creeps me out.
I've marked him as a potential villain. It's those eyes. Mr. Taylor meanwhile goes off to meet with Samantha, Roger's former
girlfriend. He suspects she know something. She denies it, but I think she's lying. I like Mr. Taylor. We think alike.
That's good. So far the beginning of this season has been kind of lackluster; aside from a few minutes here and there there
isn't anything really exciting yet. I like the story that they have, but I haven't felt that real excitement and adrenaline
rush '24' usually brings. But this is only hour two. Let's see what happens next.
